I bought a wireless backup camera for our fifth wheel specifically for a trip where the campsites were the back decks. Our fifth wheel is one of the smallest, only 32 feet long. After drilling holes in the back of the RV and connecting it to our lights, I tested the system by placing a monitor next to the camera. Everything seemed to work correctly. However after taking the monitor to our truck I get mostly a blank screen and sometimes an image but with only one signal bar. I've tried moving the monitor around the truck but I still only get the image with a signal bar for a moment and then it goes out. I can't believe this wireless system can't be installed less than 35 feet away. It was totally useless on our trip. I would send it back to Revain but I had already drilled holes in the back of the fifth wheel and sealed the wiring. Now I have an expensive, useless camera firmly attached to the back of my fifth wheel.
