These replacement straws have proven themselves. I like to use reusable thermal cups with straws for cold drinks. I have lost and broken several of my straws over the years. I have multiple cup sizes so I need different sized straws. I didn't want to order multiple sizes because I don't need that many. I ordered an 11" pack to fit my largest cups and I cut some straws to fit my shorter cups (I used a rotary tool with a grinding wheel like a Dremel). One of them broke while cutting (my fault). I applied too much pressure). The straws appear to be quite durable. I put them in the dishwasher with no problems. I rarely have to use a straw brush/pipe cleaner to clean the straws; The dishwasher cleans them. If I drink something particularly sticky, like a smoothie, I try to wash it off right away. If I leave something sticky in there until it dries, I might have to use a brush (but it goes for anything). Great deal and I will definitely buy again.
