I bought it to install in a niche and build a closet around it. Installation was easy at first until I disassembled the cabinet and attempted to lift the TV. Once the TV is raised to cabinet height (mine is 33 inches) it suddenly doesn't look as level. Of course, if you measure to the floor at each end of the TV and something doesn't line up. I'm not sure if it's the brackets you mount the TV on (which aren't adjustable) or if the leg isn't perpendicular to the lift frame (which is more likely). right against the wall, the lifter's leg looks like it's tilted to the right. However, once I've adjusted my dimensions and put a washer under the leg to level the TV, the lift works well and looks great.
