I bought it to install in a niche and build a closet around it. Installation was easy at first until I disassembled the cabinet and attempted to lift the TV. Once the TV is raised to cabinet height (mine is 33 inches) it suddenly doesn't look as level. Of course, if you measure to the floor at each end of the TV and something doesn't line up. I use it without a cabinet and it works great. I bought this because I have a projection screen for my projector and wanted my new 65" OLED TV to be mounted directly underneath. The problem was that unless I put the TV on the floor, it partially blocked the projection.
