Simplisafe believes in profit over the security of its customers

This system keeps reporting "Not connected to monitoring" unless you pay for monitoring. The announcement is random, repeating and must be removed from the base plate or repeated each time you arm or disarm. This tells neighbors or anyone passing by that your system is not being monitored. There is no other way to turn off this prompt other than turning off all voice prompts. The setting is clearly designed to force the owner to pay for a surveillance subscription at the expense of their security. This is how Simplisafe puts profit before customer safety,
