Your basic available kits are typically purchased and then never used due to limited application scenarios. Usually because they have bulky tips that are not suited to tasks that require detailing in hard-to-reach places/points, they fail miserably in a short time or have no functions at all. This set seems to be the opposite of that. Not only is it affordable, it offers plenty of room to get started and works reasonably well (so far). This actually touches on many of the caveats we usually encounter. They have multiple tips that allow you to adjust the end so you can use it for soldering in tight spots. It comes with a stand so you don't need to buy one (because you should always have a stand to set it up). It comes with your typical cheap pump, but it gets the job done. As well as a range of other accessories to start your collection with. In addition, it is possible to set the temperature together with the on / off button. It's incredibly useful to have in this price range. All of these features combine to mean that it can be quite competitive and rival anything else. Is this the best set? Not at all. We have several Weller kits in the office that are much larger. Since they are about 4-5 times more expensive than this set. So it's all about the price. So it all depends on how much you are willing to pay. The materials in this set are a bit cheap. There is no doubt about it. For the price, though, it's (in our opinion) well balanced. This makes it a great starter kit for home users who want to learn new soldering skills (and don't need to rely on it professionally for their day-to-day work). For that reason we enjoyed it very much. ** If you found our review helpful, please rate it helpful below so we know. This helps us to provide quality feedback in the future.
