Great looking bulbs but not very bright

I love the look of these bulbs, they add interest to a boring looking fixture. The light they give off is also a very pleasant warm light, not at all like ordinary incandescent bulbs. It's almost like a burning candle. At the same time, even for 40 watts it's not a very bright bulb, I don't care because I bought it for the beauty, but I wouldn't count on it for bright light.
