Excellent Fixture for my opinion

Installed this 24" model. The light is 3,000 Kelvin. Nice brightness. There is an on/off switch as shown in the picture. Now that it's installed (for about two days) there isn't much more to say about the light. The light is slim enough to fit under the cabinets nicely although in my case, since it's mounted fairly far back, a thicker one probably would have worked fine. The big thing for me was the installation. Everything you need for is included; wire nuts, screws (didn't need); strain relief connector. The mounting holes were in the same spots as the screw holes from the crappy florescent fixture that was there beforehand. I only say that to point out that there is some standardization being considered when manufacturing the body of the fixture. In addition, it's a thin fixture and they have a knockout in the rear-center of the fixture that isn't the usual 3/8" size you normally see in things like electrical boxes. The problem is that some manufacturers don't include a smaller strain relief connector that fits the smaller knockout hole. This manufacturer includes one such connector. The alternative is that you have to use a step-up bit to expand the small hole to fit the 3/8" strain relief connector. I've done that before on other fixtures and if the knock-out isn't perfectly centered, the hole might be too close to the edge of the fixture and then you could have a mess on your hands. Not so with this fixture so that's all good.I'll definitely buy more of these when more the florescent bulbs fail (that are supposed to last X number of years) in my existing fixtures. I'll never buy florescent again. This LED is the way to go.

Pros
  • Dimmable: The adjustable brightness feature allows the user to customize the lighting to suit their needs and preferences
Cons
  • May get hot to the touch
