Replaced existing fluorescents with these.

I have 8 under cabinet "inch " lights in my kitchen. They're 12 years old, of various sizes and all fluorescent. I've had to replace lamps now and then and a few ballasts. For ballast replacement, I'd just buy another identical fixture, swap out the guts and wire back up. Lately I've had problems locating the exact same fixture for replacement and figured that if I have to replace the entire fixture, I might as well upgrade to LED. I purchased two of these in 12".Their size is close to my…

Pros
  • Product is all we expected. Very well pleased
Cons
  • Requires professional installation

Works fine. Installation screws too long; use adhesive.

Electrical hookup is easy using the parts provided. The screws provided are too long for a standard kitchen cabinet bottom and will stick up through the bottom shelf of your cabinet, causing problems. I wound up using double-stick adhesive. The dimming works fine with my smart-switch dimmers and Alexa. To disassemble and reassemble these for wiring, they snap apart.I wish I could find a thinner version of these without an installed switch for a lower profile for under cabinet use.

Pros
  • Good Product!
Cons
  • Only suitable for indoor use

Well-made bright under counter lights

I bought five of these lights to replace our existing xenon lights which generated a lot of heat and most had burned out. I was pleased to find that these LED lights are well made, not difficult to install and put out a LOT of light (1,200 Lumens). The instructions were good and straightforward although I reversed steps 3 & 4 to feed the electrical supply wires through the fixture first before securing it to the bottom of the cabinet. Securing it to the cabinet first would not allow for room to

Pros
  • The lights are beautiful and they were easy to install.
Cons
  • Not bright enough for larger kitchen spaces

Hard To Install best in my review

The light fixture has a nice appearance and provides the under counter light that I wanted. I bought this LED fixture to replace a T5 fluorescent fixture. Most of these fixtures either fluorescent or LED have very similar designs an assemble and disassemble in the same way. They have a cover that encloses the internal wiring and a base that mounts to the cabinet or wall. The covers generally have a flat edge that is secured to the base by compressing the cover and sliding it into a slotted tab…

Pros
  • great and easy to install
Cons
  • Takes up too much space under cabinets

Didn't work with our wiring

I'm sure the product was fine. I use to install these in the! It couldn't be hooked up with our wiring so we had to get a different type.

Pros
  • I use to install these in the
Cons
  • Limited warranty period

Small footprint but great light output

Easy to install with plenty of light output. Replaced an OLD fluorescent fixture.May have to switch out our kitchen counter lights since these, work so well.Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Energy Star Certified: This LED light is Energy Star certified, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of energy efficiency
Cons
  • Not suitable for all types of kitchen decor styles

Surprisingly good light bars

I replaced existing fluorescent under cabinet lights with five of these in various sizes. While a Romex connector is included I just reused the ones I had and migrated them over to one of the knockouts in the back of the case. As luck woud have it, my supply wire locations coming out of the walls pretty much lined up with a knockout hole so I could mount the new lights nearly where they ideally needed to be on center. It turned out it didn't matter much. These fixtures throw off a ton of light…

Pros
  • Safe and Reliable: LED lights are safe and reliable, minimizing the risk of fire and electrical accidents
Cons
  • Can be difficult to adjust brightness

Bright as heck! - my new review

Don’t know why they list motion detection as an attribute. It doesn’t apply. This is a switched under-cabinet light. Replaced and older fluorescent lightbulb one. Much better and very bright.

Pros
  • Wall Lights
Cons
  • Doesn't work with some home automation systems

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Tricky opening for my opinion

It is tricky getting the front apart so you can access the wiring and connectors. Other wise works good. That's my feedback.

Pros
  • DIMMABLE - Compatible with most dimmers. CRI>90 provides truer colors for your fruits and vegetables
Cons
  • Difficult to replace bulbs

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Dimmable option did not work with dimmer switch

The functionality when the dimmer was installed failed to work. The eight installed units work at 100 % bright light and do not respond to the dimmer switch.

Pros
  • Energy Efficient: LED lights are highly energy efficient, using less power than conventional lamps and bulbs
Cons
  • Power cord gets in the way

Good unit, easy to install, very bright - dimmer required.

These units are solidly built and easy to install, coming with all of the required parts (some of which are non-standard). The units have a nice color quality but are very bright (which generally is a good thing) to the extent that I had to install a dimmer switch. Fortunately they are dimmer compatible. With the dimmers in I am very pleased with the result.

Pros
  • Saves Space
Cons
  • Can be difficult to match with existing fixtures

A bright alternative

I've replaced my fluorescent under cabinet lighting with these LED units. The number of lumens matched or exceeded the fluorescent units they replaced. The higher CR rating was noticeable. It wasn't easy to squeeze all the wiring and wire nuts into the space provided, particularly when chaining multiple units together. Perhaps that was the purpose of the wire ties, but they were not mentioned in the minimalist instructions.

Pros
  • Instant On
Cons
  • Limited design options

Not the easiest to install but worth it once it's in

This light has horrible instructions, but the quality is worth it once you get it installed.Upon opening the box, remove the plastic light cover. You have to press on it firmly , it almost feels like it will break, then it separates. Inside you will find all the pieces you need. The entire fixture comes apart so you can install it.Mount the metal hardware to the wall first then put back in the piece of metal with the light assembly. This won't be easy so again, you may have to use your big boy…

Pros
  • GUILT-FREE energy usage, only 20W! 36-inch LED light bar with wide area light distribution for use in closet spaces, cabinet, counters, shelves, bookcases and displays
Cons
  • Power cord is too short

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Bad design on installation.

The light itself may be good for certain application, but due to the tabbed design when installing the unit it is almost impossible to get the two metal halves back together when hiding the wiring inside. The metal engaging the center tab is impossible to flex inorder for the metal to slide under the tab. I had to bend the center tab outward then push the metal channel down while pushing the tab back over the top of it. The color temperature is slightly off compared to my other under cabinet…

Pros
  • LED lights do not emit UV rays, protecting your skin and eyes from harmful radiation
Cons
  • May not provide enough brightness for detailed tasks

Excellent Fixture for my opinion

Installed this 24" model. The light is 3,000 Kelvin. Nice brightness. There is an on/off switch as shown in the picture. Now that it's installed (for about two days) there isn't much more to say about the light. The light is slim enough to fit under the cabinets nicely although in my case, since it's mounted fairly far back, a thicker one probably would have worked fine. The big thing for me was the installation. Everything you need for is included; wire nuts, screws (didn't need); strain relief

Pros
  • Dimmable: The adjustable brightness feature allows the user to customize the lighting to suit their needs and preferences
Cons
  • May get hot to the touch

doesn't last- no warranty support

Bought the original, identical unit in Nov 2020- i.e. 2 years ago. Like other purchasers, the original started to flickering, and then failed altogether."HASSLE-FREE 5-year warranty with 50,000 hour lifetime". 50,000hrs is 5.7 years of constant use so it failed the time and usage guarantee. I tried to contact the vendor- and sent them a message through their help contact. Nothing. The warranty is hassle-free. for them apparently. The power converter inside the light is the same Intertek LED…

Pros
  • Long-Lasting: LED lights can last up to 10 times longer than conventional lamps, reducing the need for frequent replacement
Cons
  • Not suitable for use in outdoor kitchens or grilling areas

Works well! on my review.

After a bit of a struggle with the first, figuring out how to disassemble and install, these are a snap to install and work very well.To improve, increase length of green ground wire by 4"

Pros
  • High Brightness
Cons
  • May interfere with other electronic devices in the kitchen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good Lighting for my opinion

I was happy with the purchase. The lights seem to be well made, come with all of the necessary parts, and are plenty bright. They also have a great efficiency ratio (lumens to watts). The color is a little whiter (3000) than what I would have ideally liked (closer to 2700) but it's not bad. I installed 5 under the kitchen cabinets (both the 12" and 24" versions) and I'm very happy with the overall quality and value.

Pros
  • Affordable: LED lights offer high-quality lighting at affordable prices, making them accessible to a wide range of consumers
Cons
  • Not suitable for ambient or general lighting needs

Here how to install. Just follow the instructions in the new LED package. Turn off the circuit breaker for the old tube fat bulb lamp. Took down the ancient fat bulb 18 inch tube lamp. Take the bulb out, than two screws to get the cover off, than two screws to release the base from the ceiling area, and than take off the three wire nuts, hot, neutral and ground. Pop out one of the wire ports on the LED base, the closest to your wire source, put up the LED base with two screws, I used four…

Pros
  • SWEAT-FREE installation and maintenance with easy to follow installation instructions, and easy to clean aluminum housing with no bulbs to replace
Cons
  • Prone to overheating
