Helps with the journey

The delivery was fast enough. The installation instructions don't seem to address critical issues and are sometimes difficult to follow. I removed the wheels for better access. Not everyone has a good elevator to work with. I have a gooseneck that I had to work around, it's not really a big deal. The only issue with the hitch is reusing the 3/4" bolt, the bolt may have been 1/4-1/2" too long. Not wanting to waste time with the HD, I was driving anyway when one of the mounting bolts broke so I replaced them all. There were more problems with directions than with a hitch. The instructions say to tighten all bolts, not all bolts can be tightened with a regular torque wrench. Mounting screws are of poor quality. Tightened with just a wrench and the head popped out just sitting there. Good design of the main components Towing heavy loads with the forklift has been improved. I installed air valves from Schrader in the filling area, which are a little harder to deal with in the long run with a lot of valve cleaner. Make sure you have direct access to the valves for filling and checking without excessive kinking of the air lines. For the price I would have expected better hardware. Once installed, it improves the handling and stability of heavy gooseneck trailers. Also helps when driving an empty truck at 5-10psi. The gain is worth the setup cost if you draw a lot. If you installed it from someone else, their pain isn't your problem as long as they install it well. I would buy it again for a tow and bolt change before I start work on the install.
