Love love love the convenience of having an outlet near the front door. I was so hoping this would all end, but according to my electrician there are two things you need to know. 1. off They weren't made "here". he said everything is reversed. also said that while they can be installed in place of a regular switch, YOU SHOULD NOT INSTALL THEM. unless that switch is pre-rigged with ground (or something like that). He told me that light switches don't turn on when there's too much electricity. that you might get a flickering light, but you can definitely make a fire!
