Review on Stainless Steel Zojirushi AAPE 22SBXA Beverage Dispenser by Sri Mims

I only use this thermos to keep ice cold drinks on my desk during the day. Amazingly, as others have mentioned, it maintains the temperature of whatever is inside. I grind ice and water (and a little flavor) in the morning and fill to the top. I get everything ready during the day, but when I refill it the next morning the ice is still there. All of that. In case you're still not sure, I don't use it on weekends. Monday morning when I fill it up. About 3/4 of the ice is still in there. I didn't leave it long enough to see the ice melt completely. The top comes off easily which is a big bonus. The ice machine in my office makes long, decent ice cubes, and they fit easily (but thicker cubes don't fit). It also has a great carrying handle. I gave it four stars for the only two "faults" I wish it had. First, the lid doesn't fully close during transport, so if it's prone to spills (there's an open/close switch at the top, but that just prevents the button from being pressed. I'm not sure how useful that is ). Second, the pump button itself is not easy to press. You have to give a few powerful nudges to fill the cup (the lever arrangement would make this easier). BUT. If you're looking for a place to store cold drinks and don't plan on stowing it on the side, then this is what you need.
