The first device I received seemed to be DOA. There is no contact information on the website so I used Revain for a 'defective item' exchange. It worked as expected with typical Revain excellence. Unfortunately, the company itself cannot be reached. The second device activated relatively well. Unfortunately, it's not very good at location tracking. I ran some tests and took it around the Southern California area (many miles away, all within very good cellular network coverage). At the time of writing this review, the device is 60 miles from its last location, has been moving for 2 hours, but is still showing the location of where it was last night. Basically: It's terrible for location tracking. I bought it to compare to my comparison: * Invoxia is physically very sleek and thin. Light, small, unobtrusive. Style points for gear, of course! GL300 is a typical chunky black cube. Solid, more useful LEDs, but a little less "cool".* The Invoxia app looks sleek* Invoxia As far as I can tell, the only way to interact is through the mobile app. There is no website. Bummer for those who want to use a computer! * GL300 (and Americaloc in my case) works through a very simple "web1.0" style site. It's designed for computers, but I use it perfectly in a mobile browser so I can see the location data anywhere. * Invoxia only has a "fast/normal/slow” refresh rate (and battery life). About 5 mins, 10 mins, 15 mins. Notice a lot of hands-on control here. * GL300 has a very detailed refresh rate from about 30 seconds to "many minutes". I've had mine for years and this setting helps a lot to control battery drain. Works flawlessly. Conclusion: Invoxia does not work, and if it does, it has significantly worse properties compared to other trackers. Do not buy.
