Great solution for my needs

I had a problem with my ROKU which I used to power my home theater projector. I needed to cut audio from HDMI to send it to my sound system so I bought an audio extractor. This worked fine, but every few minutes the video would lose lock and freeze completely for about 5 seconds (I'm pretty sure it's an HDMI issue). I isolated it from the extractor but instead of replacing the extractor I bought a U9 splitter. I now have video going through the splitter to my projector and the splitter copies and reports the EDID from my projector to the ROKU so it works fine (U9 lets you choose which source EDID is copied and sent to the source device). The other output of the U9 goes to the Audio Extractor, which also works without any problems. An added plus is that if I get Pandora I can turn off the projector and HDMI is supported so I can still extract music audio for Pandora. I plan on getting another one for a separate system that will drive the 3D display along with the non-3D display. The problem is that due to EDID issues I have to turn off displays other than 3 to use the 3D display. With this splitter copying and creating the selected EDID I should be able to keep both connected and use the 3D display. To sum up, this splitter is well packaged, appears to have advanced operational features not found on other HDMI splitters and comes well packaged with a power cord (but no power adapter).
