I don't usually write bad reviews, but I had high hopes for this product. When I received it and took it out of the box you could tell that this is an extremely solid and well built lighting system. Setup problem. The software requires 2.4 band WiFi, which I have, but it won't connect to the 2.4 band. I've tried various configurations including reconfiguring my Netgear Nighthawk X 12. Subsequent troubleshooting of the application required me to reconfigure the name of each of my groups. To do this, you have to turn off the intelligent system of the whole house and reconfigure it a little. As I said at the outset, the product is solid and durable, the software feels retarded and retarded. I'm returning this to Revain with no problems as usual and am looking for another string of lights for my porch that doesn't work with one of those cheap remotes.
