This case replaced the fake silicone case for my iPhone XS Max. The case is in 2 parts with the phone inserting into the larger part of the case and the top part (about half an inch ) snaps into place. It is covered with a rubber coating, although the coating is still a bit slippery for my hands and doesn't offer a good grip. I have a protective glass on my phone and the case doesn't interfere with it. All side buttons are accessible and easy to reach. Even when swiping on the screen, the case does not interfere. Clip I don't really use much but seems to be pretty sturdy. I'm not sure how it will withstand a fall, but I won't test it either. I use the clip when I'm out and don't want my phone hitting my leg when I'm wearing certain shorts, but that's about it. Again, holding the phone helps.
