I read the reviews after I bought it and before I received it and was a bit concerned to see how many people are having trouble with just one chopstick not working. . Unfortunately when I first got them I had a similar issue where one of them would turn itself off when using. I had some new batteries on hand and decided to replace them. Replacing the batteries was a tedious process to say the least due to wires getting in the way and the batteries not wanting to be seated properly. But with a little help from a family member, we were able to put new batteries in. Since then I haven't had any more problems, they work great now.
