I don't care at all about my kitchen appliances and I cook for a large family every day so stainless steel bowls work best for me and they are good quality for the price. They're a little flimsy so they wrinkle easily, but that's why they're the economy version. Considering the price difference, I'm okay with the fact that they're thin. The steel is just as high quality as regular Vollrath products, even if it's a bit thinner. Other brands of cheap stainless steel bowls just don't play in the same quality league. Some brands even rust over time, these don't. Over the last few months they have withstood whatever insults I could throw at them. This includes multiple visits to the dishwasher, using an electric hand mixer, and even using it on the stovetop as a spare pot when needed. Buy them, you won't regret it.
