My new favorite tripod

This isn't new technology, but I never bought it because of the high price of popular brands' goosenecks. It's currently well priced so I figured it might be worth a try. This is now my new favorite tripod. I used the Manfrotto Mini Table Tripod which is great but very limited for flat surfaces. This fills in all the gaps left by rigid tripods. It's very easy to bend it into any configuration you can think of, wrap the legs around anything and let your phone/camera hang. The maximum usable height before the tripod becomes unstable is about 11 inches. The lowest height is about 3-4 inches. I've always wanted one of these and couldn't be happier with this tripod. It comes with a smartphone adapter. If you are using a large phone (more than 5 inches) and have a thick hard case (e.g. an Otterbox) you may need to remove the case to fit the phone. My Nexus 6P fits with or without a case. My Pixel 2 XL does not fit in a case. But this is a very thick Spigen hard case. Anyway, I have another $5 smartphone adapter that fits my Pixel with a case. The tripod also comes with a Bluetooth remote shutter release which has worked flawlessly on my Android phone so far. I don't have an iPhone to test this, so I can't talk about it. It controls the camera and video shutter. So I don't think you will be disappointed if you are looking for a budget flexible tripod. If anything changes I will update the review.
