Review on πŸ”§ Stretch Installer by Drake Off Road by Kendro Givens

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Too big for a Mazda 5 minivan (2012 and after)

I bought this tool because it looked better than the others. my work. The Mazda 5 minivan has two annoying problems that are even more annoying when combined: it has a stretch to fit the serpentine belt AND there is almost no space between the pulleys and the inside of the passenger-side wheel. It's hard work and there's no room for it. There wasn't physically enough space between the pulleys and the wheel well for this tool. separate installer and pullers, because they seem thinner. You can also do this hillbilly style work with a crowbar, which is what I did. Simply remove the top two bolts from the idler pulley assembly and loosen the bottom bolt - then flip it over where the belt can be placed over the pulley - then use a pry bar and some village gorilla action to slide the pulley assembly back. where you can start one of the top screws. Not elegant, but it worked for me.
