This is the best computer product investment I've ever made (and I've made a lot). Easy to use, does what it promises, more than meets my needs. By background, I am a college professor. I have both FERPA protected and HIPA protected data. I wouldn't trust a computer hard drive or cloud storage. This allows me to take it with me wherever I go, knowing it's completely secure (make sure you have a backup somewhere, just in case). I no longer want to take my computer with me. I can just hook it up to non-computers in the classrooms. I love it when it's read only as I know nothing will happen to it if I plug it into the computer in class, not even a fool messing with the computer. I also run PortableApps on it which gives me a safe view of all data being written to this drive, it's a computer. Perfect match. Thanks to the integrated unlocking, no keg registrar can find out your password. Even if you don't work for the NSA, I recommend this to everyone these days for file security and privacy reasons.
