Update: Advance Devices contacted me and helped restore my tweezers, there is a problem with the processor that went into the version I had Hibernation changes (I suggested adding more see the manual for details or create a troubleshooting guide. They also sent me a new version of the tweezers which doesn't have this problem but has some other improvements. I'm back and working and use a new pair of tweezers. First review: I've been designing high performance analog circuits my whole life and I've been in electronics design for 20 years .I work at the most powerful racetrack in the world.I have these tweezers friends recommended in the industry and am just wondering if I sent others in the wrong direction. Loved these tweezers for the first 6 months, really quick and easy to test surface mount components. But when I used the tweezers recently, they wouldn't turn on. I checked the cables and charger, tried different options, another device using the same charging port charges just fine. Nothing shows up on my display just completely dead. More than a bit of a disappointment considering I've only had them for 6 months. The company has no information about service, warranty or anything else. I have sent an email and have not received a reply. Maybe they are small and on vacation? I'll try to call but at the moment the manufacturer's customer service seems to be out of stock and it looks like it's going to be a problem for me. If/until the company responds I'll give this product 1 star and I don't recommend spending around $300 on this item when the service is so questionable. Let's hope the company doesn't disappear and support the product they sell. I will update my review with new information.
