Review on 🔪 Cuisinart CBT-500, SB5600, CB600 Blender Blade Assembly with 3 Gaskets - Replacement Parts for Better Blending Performance by Jon Lesperance

The original's teeth have worn down after over 20 years of use causing the handle with the motor teeth to slip. I replaced it with this one and it only broke into pieces when crushing ice after about 3 weeks of use. Only about 3 ice cubes in at the same time. The shards hit the sides of the glass, creating a crack about 3 inches long. Now it's not worth replacing the glass at the expense of a 20 year old design and a motor that may not last. I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to use the Cuisinart brand or something else. I now use my portable smoothie maker.
