Review on Henckels 4-Piece Steak Knife Set, 4.5-inch Black Stainless Steel Steak Knives by Deejay Allard

I had my eye on these knives for a long time and decided to buy them when they were on sale. I'm glad I did. These knives feature solid construction with a full shaft, hard plastic scales (maybe something like epoxy?) held in place with 3 steel rivets. I found the pens a bit "blocky" for my taste, but quite usable. The pads on the handles were installed securely with no play or gaps. The blades are semi-serrated, 0.070" thick at the handle and tapering to 0.023" at the ends. The blade still has some machining/polishing marks but for such a reasonable price for a set I wouldn't expect them to be polished to a high shine. I am happy with my purchase and am sure they will last for decades.
