These are not Henkels knives.

All Henckels knives have their logo on the blades. The ones we got didn't. Mister asked me where is the Henckles logo? Too bad I didn't check before they were removed. He is a retired chef and Henckles is the only brand he has ever used for work and he knows they put their logo on all of their knives. We haven't used it for about a month after receiving it, too late to return it. Someone flipped a switch on us. :(

Pros
  • EASY TO CUT: Micro-serrated edge to prevent slipping
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Works well, good price

I bought this cheaper steak knife set to go with my more expensive kitchen set (Henckels Pro). I wanted knives in a similar style and they go very well together. I don't use steak knives as often as various kitchen knives, so I didn't want to spend a lot of money on steak knives. I also wanted stainless steel for easier cleaning (stainless steel is less prone to discoloration than high-carbon knives). For the price they are easy to care for and do a great job.

Pros
  • BALANCED KNIFE: One piece blade with full shank for strength and durability
Cons
  • I'll write later

Don't imagine what you will get.

The product advertised is not what you will receive. let me explain. In my attached photo, the knife on the left is my old knife. I had 2 and wanted 4 more. The serrated edge runs the full length of the knife. Also, the Revain promotional image shows a knife with serrations running the full length of the knife. I got the knife on the right from Revane. As you can see, the serrated grooves are larger and run down the center of the knife. The SKU number on the box (when typed into the search bar)

Pros
  • High-quality stainless steel blade, corrosion-resistant
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Sturdy, durable, good price. Bought a second set

This was my second purchase of this knife set. They are high quality, unpretentious in style - great for "everyday" use. They cut well and feel good in the hand. We bought the first set 4 years ago, put it in the dishwasher every night and have had no issues with the handles or blades - they still cut well and feel solid. It's hard to find such quality at such a low price. Rivets on old ones don't shine as well as new ones but after 4 years of daily use I consider that normal wear and tear and…

Best Value Cutlery & Knife Accessories

I had my eye on these knives for a long time and decided to buy them when they were on sale. I'm glad I did. These knives feature solid construction with a full shaft, hard plastic scales (maybe something like epoxy?) held in place with 3 steel rivets. I found the pens a bit "blocky" for my taste, but quite usable. The pads on the handles were installed securely with no play or gaps. The blades are semi-serrated, 0.070" thick at the handle and tapering to 0.023" at the ends. The blade still has

Always carry a skirmish knife with you

I used to be the guy who bought a giant block of knives with a million different knives. Of course, you end up only using a few of those knives because you're not a professional chef as you might think. A year goes by and these once shiny knives become dull, rusty, or both. So you go and buy another knife block. The cycle goes on and on. Now I'm the guy who only buys the knives I really need. And they work very well for their intended purpose (cutting food before consumption). The price is also

Cons
  • Only available in black

Just under a year ago (October 2020) I bought two sets of 4.5 inch steak knives to serve eight people. When I received the knives in a box from JA Henckles, I unpacked them and saw that the notches only went halfway down the body of the knife. I checked the Revain listing to make sure the knives I ordered showed as fully cut, and they were. I emailed JA Henckles support to report the issue and about a day later I received a response saying that the company would like a photo of the knives I…
