Decided to try these because they are cheap and using silicone swim caps can be a nuisance. Having already read reviews about the repackaging method, I wasn't concerned when I saw the packaging. Removing a few covers from the bundle was easy enough and nothing was damaged. I put them on and as others have pointed out they don't really fit the ear. At first everything was fine, the covers kept out direct splashes and the water running off my hair just dripped off. Then it's time to wash the soap off your face. As soon as I lifted my head, water poured into the front of my ear, under the elastic hem of the earmold, straight into my ear canal. In the end they didn't help me.
