These are very useful for me. I wear a pair every time I color my hair as it saves me having to cover my ears with petroleum jelly which I can't do at the moment as I had ear surgery earlier this year. They fit well and hold up well and I recommend them.

Decided to try these because they are cheap and using silicone swim caps can be a nuisance. Having already read reviews about the repackaging method, I wasn't concerned when I saw the packaging. Removing a few covers from the bundle was easy enough and nothing was damaged. I put them on and as others have pointed out they don't really fit the ear. At first everything was fine, the covers kept out direct splashes and the water running off my hair just dripped off. Then it's time to wash the soap

These things are so awful. I only use them in the shower and nothing prevents water from entering the front of the lid. Having now tried them on my own I even tried an earplug by placing my hands on the front of the cap to prevent water getting in and it still happens. If I can't hold water in the shower, I don't know how anyone can use it to swim.

not five or even four because i had to use tape to keep water out and even with that water i got through. I once bought silicone float ear tips and put them in, it seemed to get better but there was still water in there even with the band shower. I think it would be better if you do your hair in the sink or have someone wash your hair instead of in the shower. Still better than using nothing.

You may think that reviewing this product is silly, but it isn't! I had 6 ear surgeries for skin cancer. Ideal for coloring hair! But not for small ears! A NOTICE. If you've had surgery or otherwise can't get your ears wet, this is NOT for you! I can't stress! They won't magically stay on when you shower or swim in the pool. They are best suited for dyeing or bleaching hair. Maybe even haircuts. So that no small hairs fall into the ear. In any case, the rating is below. I saw them in a Korean hair video and thought they were so cute and comfortable. I never had them when I went to the hairdresser!
