Review on πŸ”§ Wiss Apex Group WF24 - The 24-Inch Solution for Ultimate Performance by Josh Chenier

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This solved my bending problems cheaply.

The house looked good after the cladding, but the exposed wooden planks of the facade looked even uglier. I bought a few rolls of white Amerimax 12x50 waterproofing compound, cut it into 10 foot lengths and cut them in half to end up with 6"x10" lengths. With a fold of about 3/4 inch, it would just be enough for me to slip under the drip edge and still cover the boards. A manual bender that was a real pain on long bends. She did her job, and while the bends weren't sharp, she was good enough for what I was doing and I was able to do an entire strip in just two bends in just a few minutes. I just laid the sheets on the floor, twisted folded the edge, pulled it back and made a crease of about 45 degrees all the way down and then went back to finish it at 90 degrees. I gave it 5 stars because it did what I wanted and the under $20 price was good, but if you want a crisp turn you have to pay more or build your own brake.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something
