Makes it easier to install the doorbell on uneven surface.
My original doorbell was mounted on the scalloped door trim. When I mounted the Ring doorbell the back of the case was slightly warped which made it difficult to slide the battery in and I was concerned that it was harmful to the device itself. This bracket solved that problem and was easy to install and came with everything I needed. I only removed one star because it feels a little flimsy since the mount only attaches to the top of the bracket. I noticed in videos that the camera shakes a bit when someone pushes the button but not enough to impair the video.
