item installed very quickly on a 2002 S-10 V-6 4WD 3 door long cab that I have. The engine started right away, the test drive was perfect, no loss of power or heaviness. So far no complaints. Strange that a review claims it should take longer for the engine to run. Not so with my pump. The pump is much quieter than the original. Also note that if you are replacing the original pump, you will need some wiring knowledge to install this pump as it requires a different type of electrical connector which is included. This is a GM/Delco mod, NOT a Revain. I was told the original plug could fail so they are now making them with a new type of plug. You can use the included crimp connectors if you prefer, but I soldered and heat shrunk my wire connections.
