Nice set! I have cross stitch experience but this is my first embroidery and I really like it. I thought (stupidly) that it would be easier and quicker than counted cross stitch since the canvas is printed, but as it turned out it's not as easy and quick as I thought. For those unfamiliar with printed canvases, you still need to be careful when placing stitches as the print won't exactly follow the clean, fast lines on the canvas. I often check the finished image (it would be better if it was bigger) to make sure I have the right number of stitches in the right places. Accuracy isn't that important with the background, but the clean straight lines on the cab require special attention. There are many 24 inch threads out there, but I want the thread to be something we can easily buy from a store. instead of calling the company and asking. No, I haven't had to do this yet, but there are two colors that would be questionable. Overall, I'm excited for this project and can't wait to complete it. I will add photos when I have more.
