Review on πŸš— Enhanced Performance Clutch Master Cylinder EXEDY MC153 by Derek Pape

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent replacement master for my 240sx

My clutch master on my '91 240sx failed so I took this block and an extra slave cylinder. This device has proven itself and has served me well in everyday driving for several months. It does squeak on the first press on very cold/wet days, but my old unit did that too, so can't really complain. EXEDY product. It appears to be an unknown brand that Exedy claims to own, so the description is a bit misleading. While there's no really good excuse for that, I don't really care about brands. Renaming cheap products by well-known brands is common these days. At least it's honest about its provenance on the real box. Also, locations that specialize in 240 parts sell this particular master cylinder as an OEM alternative. Haven't seen any bad reviews about it on these sites and as far as I can tell it's holding up great. So: if it suits your car, buy it. Cheap and seems to work well. Yes, this is not a genuine Exedy branded product, but I honestly don't see the value of the sticker on the box. The drop in price of OEM parts is huge and I'm sure it will last for a long time. Take it for what it's worth.
