This cable lasted about 6-7 months. From day one it was loose with the mini display port and HDMI ports, I didn't know if that was the norm. I protected this cable from the elements and kept it in a computer bag, out of those 6-7 months I didn't use it for 4 months. When I plugged it into my TV and my Surface Pro 2 all day yesterday, the TV screen randomly went dark while the computer played the movie perfectly. It was a mess and my poor students were so excited to see the film but ended up frustrated with problems with the cable working properly. This cable is not durable at all. UPDATE: I contacted Benfei through their Revain page as the cable has an 18 month warranty despite Revain's 30 day base. Customer service was so quick to respond and offered to send a replacement and extend the warranty. I hope this replacement works better.
