I got this for my betta's 10 gallon aquarium. He previously had a HOB filter and I was embarrassed that he pressed it. I wanted to simulate a more natural environment for him. It arrived quickly and was very easy to set up, although no instructions were included. I watched YouTube videos for some pointers. never mind Needless to say, I'm impressed. Ludwig wasn't actually dangling from the side of the tank that the HOB was hanging from. But now he can explore and enjoy his entire aquarium without any help. I love how you can adjust the exit direction, the levers that the sponges sit on move to give you some clearance behind them and the tank wall. Good value for money. Significantly quieter than the HOB filter. The water is super clean. I would buy for every tank I have.
