I used the standard Ergotron mount with my Wacom Cintiq 27qhd. The weight was almost at the limit, but balanced with maximum spring tension. That ultimately failed. This heavy-duty model holds the weight with no problem. In fact, I had to crank the spring to the minimum to neutralize the weight from the monitor. " Perfection. made of cheap plastic. It compresses or decompresses a fairly thick steel spring to provide resistance. This part should be aluminum or at least cheap metal. So of course I broke it and tried to get it to the minimum. Luckily that's all I need. Some other people say it can't be mounted on the Cintiq. You need to buy a VESA mounting kit and use thicker washers. Attached picture of the adjustment spring, cracked black plastic on top of the spring. Otherwise case it works great. I use it every day with A LOT of manipulation when painting. Great buy, just be careful when setting it up.
