The information that came with the jar said the lid was leaking. Well understood. What I don't understand is how it can leak when you're holding it and standing still. I thought it wouldn't leak when it's in a truck and you're driving off-road, but when you stand still and try to drink it leaks, it's like a defective product. It doesn't hold hot drinks. as hot as my cheap Contigo glass. There should be something around it to hold onto as it's just smooth stainless steel and can easily slip out of your hand. Don't even try to open the lid when you have a hot drink. Simply not. Or put on an apron and do it in the sink because you have to force the lid open. 30 dollars. My nameless glass from Walgreens is much better.
