First of all I love all PackIt products. I have many different ones. Last year my kids put packed lunches in their lunch buckets. This year I wanted to get a pack with a zipper. Last year they had velcro, and after half a year they were gone. It's still not bad considering I used it five days a week for six months. But I love this bag! It's the perfect size and closes with a zipper. There is also a practical carrying handle. There is a clip on the handle that you can also use to attach it to your backpack. There is a side mesh pocket for dishes or a small drink. I could use this for a tissue paper or pack of tissues for my kids to wash their hands and face after dinner. Then there is a front pocket that I will put my children's names and their contact information in. The best part about this lunch tote is that you put it in the freezer and freeze it and your food stays cold all day. The front and back of the bag will freeze and keep everything cold. The description says it keeps your food cold for 10 hours. So I decided to give it a try. I froze it overnight and took it out at 10am. I put it on our counter with a sandwich and an apple. I also felt it when the package didn't thaw. In our house it stays between 68 and 70 degrees. The bag finally started to heat up at 7pm. So, 9 o'clock! So I feel great when my kids go to school at 7am and have lunch at noon! Your food will be cold! I always worry about mayonnaise. Tip: I would also buy an extra ice pack from the store and toss it in the freezer in case you forget to put the kids packed lunch back in the freezer overnight.
