Review on Optimum ID2008P Instant Detailer Enhancer by Robert Wells

Optimum Instant Detailer & Gloss Enhancer (OID) is an amazing product. I mainly use it after washing the car while drying it with two microfiber towels. A cloth lightly dampened and sprayed with OID to do the first wipe to remove water, then a completely dry cloth for light buffing. It gives excellent shine without streaks. Using OID while drying the car also acts as a lubricant to prevent the towel from damaging the paintwork. For a much better value, I switched to buying the 1-gallon concentrate rather than this ready-to-use 17-ounce version. The concentrate is 3 parts water to 1 part OID, so 1 gallon of concentrate produces 4 gallons (512 ounces) of detail for less than 0.12 cents an ounce. I think this might be the best tool for quick detailing and the best value for the 1 gallon size (especially since it includes free shipping). However, the atomizer is pretty bad, so I use my own atomizer now. I'm giving the 17 oz pack 4 stars because of the poor vaporizer, but the product itself gets 5 stars if you use your own vaporizer.
