It took me about three hours to replace the screen on my son's iPad. I had to pull out his old home button because that home button wasn't working. The tools were great but they didn't come with instructions so I had to look up instructions on YouTube. What worked for me. Be sure to watch the video for the right generation of iPad. Unfortunately the glue didn't work and the screen fell off after about a week. I heated it up after I originally installed it and reheated it when it fell, but it just wouldn't stay. I ended up taking it to the store for repairs. It was worth trying. The cost of this screen is much less than a professional installation. But disappointed that it didn't work and I still have to pay for a professional screen replacement.
