The first thing anyone wanting to buy this Verbatim ToughMax USB Flash Drive should know is that it is USB 2.0 and therefore NOT fast. If you're spoiled for 3.0 speed or planning to move large amounts of data to and from your ToughMax flash drive on a regular basis, this may not be the ideal choice for a portable USB drive. looking for an affordable and reliable portable USB solution that will allow me to store important files for work and travel. And in that regard, this ToughMax is exactly what I was looking for. 64GB of storage was sufficient for my purposes and I have no issues with the 2.0 speed of this drive. I also really appreciate the fact that this ToughMax flash drive has a tight-fitting lid - meaning I can snap the lid open, slip it into my backpack or pocket and not worry about it getting a little dirty or my bag. . Fluff gets stuck at the end of the USB drive. Another thing I love about this ToughMax USB drive is its size. This is the gold portable USB stick: it's small enough to fit in your bag without taking up too much space, small enough not to stick out of the side of your laptop like a sore thumb, but big enough to that don't get lost easily and be large enough so that it can be easily pulled out of a hard-to-reach connection (like a USB port between two other devices - try this with a SanDisk Ultra Fit, clipped nails and no pliers/tweezers ). Tremendous value for that hard biscuit - I recommend it.
