Review on 🧶 Creative Cable Knits: 20 Inspired Designs for Making Sweaters and Accessories by Jennifer Roberts

Does not stand out among the newly released knitting books

I agree with the criticism of the instructions of other reviewers, so I will not repeat myself. the best author, not as beautiful as some of her drafts published in magazines. They're definitely more intermediate than advanced, as none of them are particularly difficult. I don't like the combination of cables she uses and I don't think they reflect a particularly good sense of balance and symmetry. However, the overall construction of the clothes of most of them is exquisite. That's Ellis' forte: you won't find too many boxy, shapeless sweaters in her work. I love her sleeves, shoulders and neckline. But that's all. The photo is successful, but in my opinion it corresponds neither to the design nor to the topics stated in it. She says she's inspired by nature, but the photos are mostly taken indoors, harsh and sterile in my opinion. I don't like the psychological/philosophical comments on yoga. I feel like she's a little self-conscious, like she thinks she has the answers to every question and puts herself above the reader. I find it annoying and feel like it distracts from the book. that she's a little self-conscious, as if she thinks she has the answers to every question and puts herself above the reader.
