I use these around the house and in my car for cleaning because they are heavy duty, lint free and have fairly decent absorption though my purpose for them is not to clean up messes with. Since they come in a 12x12, there are a few I actually cut down to 12x6 to use for windows/automobile and even 6x3 to keep in the bathroom for quick post-shower wipe downs in between bathroom deep cleans.I have even used these to wipe down the backboards of my hardwood stairs, my baseboards, etc. my most favorite use for them though, is for mirrors and windows. I feel I am not using hardly as many paper towels as I once was, and achieve an even better streak free clean.
