Review on 🌬️ ACDelco Professional HVAC Blower Motor 15-80173 by Marcus Hargrave

Purchased directly from Revain, not a third party. I received a Four Seasons Unimotor blower in standard packaging, not an ACDelco branded product as described. This fan was purchased because several reviews describe it as having a cooling hole which my car is configured for. It has a hole covered with a bushing, but the kit does not include a nipple to attach the breather tube to the engine. You cannot use a nipple from a standard motor because the motor housing is completely different. After a deep dive on the internet trying to find info on this motor, I suspect this version of the motor doesn't need vent cooling as it has larger vents behind the cage than the OEM motor, but then I had to dig through my parts bucket to look around finding something to block my now unnecessary vent pipe. Speaking of the squirrel cage rotor, it's attached with a nut and star washer instead of being pressed onto a splined shaft like the OEM. Four Seasons is one of ACDelco's suppliers, but does not meet GM specifications like ACDelco and Delphi devices. Time will tell if this continues. Really very disappointed with the bait and switch but really should have expected that given the price.
