Much luck. You will need it to draw the panels.

tl; etc. The AOC 24G2 is a great monitor if (1) you're lucky in the panel lottery, or (2) you're willing to ignore dead subpixels and/or obvious uniformity issues for a great price.tl; dr2. Attention, the AOC 24G2 does not have the 126 percent "color space coverage" of the sRGB color space. The actual sRGB color space coverage is around 99.7%. Review, part 1. Panel draw. In my experience you have a 1 in 5 chance of hitting the jackpot. Monitor #1 (ordered June 13, 2020). Jackpot. There were some issues with backlight blur and white uniformity (see calibration test results for monitor #1), but these were minor, especially at this price point. Fantastic.Monitor #2 (ordered June 13, 2020).Dead green sub-pixel in lower right corner.Monitor #3 (ordered June 19, 2020).Dead green sub-pixel in middle left edge.Monitor #4 (ordered on June 22) . , 2020) A huge crack along the width of the plate. I. How? Monitor #5 (ordered June 22, 2020). There are no dead pixels or cracks, but the panel had serious uniformity issues. The white on the bottom left was off-white, and the backlight bleeding on the bottom right was so bad that it was visible in daylight. So I took out my colorimeter and took some measurements (see calibration test results for monitor #5). In fact, the dE00 white point in the lower-left corner borders 3, and the static contrast in the lower-right corner was measured at 816:1. This is about 55% of the value measured in the center of the screen and about 82% of the value (1000:1) listed for the PANDA LC238LF1F panel used in the AOC 24G2. Review Part 2: sRGB Gamma Coverage .AOC advertises that the 24G2 is capable of "displaying over 126% of the sRGB color space profile". This is disingenuous as it leads people to believe that this monitor has 126% sRGB color space coverage. The sRGB color space coverage for 24G2 is actually around 99.7%, slightly past the blue end of the color space (see dlCtCp map for monitor #1). The data sheet of the PANDA LC238LF1F panel confirms this and states an sRGB color space coverage of 99%. So where does that 126% come from? As you can see in the dlCtCp map, the 24G2 color space coverage on the red and green sides is actually outside the sRGB color space (dashed line). The 24G2 is therefore able to display red and green colors 126% outside of the sRGB color space. However, the actual "coverage" of the sRGB color space is 99.7%, regardless of whether the monitor is able to reproduce all colors of the sRGB color space. AOC doesn't make false claims, but they are at least misleading. Speaking of colors, the average RGB dE00 for a good 24G2 I've gotten is 0.17 - nothing short of amazing. Of course, the monitor struggles to accurately reproduce dark colors, with dE00 being 1.38 for one of the darker shades of blue, but that's to be expected. The AOC 24G2 is an affordable IPS gaming monitor. I would be really surprised if it could accurately reproduce deep dark colors. end of review. I have returned all but the first 24G2 and will not be buying any more as my luck with the AOC 24G2 seems to have run out. A good one that I have is amazing. It is undoubtedly the monitor with the best value for money on the market. In fact, most people either don't even notice these issues or are willing to ignore them as the AOC 24G2 comes at a great price for the features it offers. If you're like most people, this monitor is a great choice. However, if you're like me - good luck.
