It's great. I use it for a cup most weekdays because it's quick, easy, and can make a great cup of coffee with a little homework and trial and error. At the weekend we make a big pot of coffee in the coffee maker, but it takes too long because I have to work. You can brew it right in your travel mug, which is very convenient. I've been using it for over a year and there are no signs of wear. I mostly hand wash it, but I run it in the dishwasher a few times a month. It has a wide rim and is therefore suitable for large cups. My typical brewing option: add ground (medicinal) filter, bring water to a boil, then allow to cool 45 seconds, pour coffee slowly until desired cup water level, steep 3 1/2. min, in the last 30 seconds, gently stir the ground coffee in the filter, lifting several times to strain the water. Then remove the filter and enjoy. Play around with your grind size to see how you like it. I wouldn't go to the finest setting as you'll end up with a thicker layer of silt, but it can handle a fairly fine grind like a champ.
