I like the idea that it can be folded. I bought this as a hiking option. I think I'll go with the stainless steel cone that I reviewed. First, the nylon filter allowed more residue to get into the pot, and therefore the cup, than the stainless steel cone. But smaller than my old nylon cone filter. I would recommend a closer bond. I love it! I took one before going on a 3 week trip to New Zealand that included several nights in campsites and hostels.
