Unbearable musty smell. We hung them in the garage to air them out before use. The whole garage smelled of mold for several days. We live in a semi-arid desert climate in the highlands, things usually air out for a few hours. Not these! I can't imagine her indoors, certainly not indoors, even for a short time. Paint fumes will be welcome over the stench of these rags. Edit to say they washed great and the smell is gone so I added another star as they are good value for money.
