Review on 🎒 Topeak MTX Trunk Bag EXP & DXP Bicycle Trunk Bag Rain Cover: Silver, Waterproof Protection, Compact Size by Tyler Bonnell

I used some Vaude baskets for almost 18 years until the plastic fasteners gradually broke and this Topeak product became a replacement. A good thing! Would have switched long ago if I had known how well the MTX Trunk Bag EXP works. Here's the thing: I commute to work year-round in central Oregon. The temperature is sometimes below zero, snow and ice are quite common in winter (I ride on studded tires from December to April), temperature drops of 50-60 degrees in 8 hours are not uncommon even in summer. That means I have to pack quite a lot of clothes to adjust. One side of the panniers holds all my rain/cold gear. I keep the other one for my work clothes. Top pocket for tools, spare tubes, tire change kit, padlock, wallet, lunch, cell phone. I love pairing it with the Topeak stand as the entire assembly slides off at the touch of a button for me to carry. with me to the office. Can be put back on at the end of the day. So far (several months in use) no problems with lightning, no glitches, no complaints. I drive 90 minutes a day on the road, on bumps and potholes: nothing has come off. Additional rain cover. I was afraid it would be a cheap trick. It is not. Puts on in seconds, works flawlessly, folds into a tiny storage bag. I actually use it on snowy and/or rainy days and am very happy with it.
