A little background. I'm almost 44 years old and only rode Bones Swiss in the 80's. I've just returned to the board every Sunday for our 40+ club. I started with Bones Reds and Indy 7 first. They were ok but my friend told me about Bronson Raw so I ordered a set. They were great from the start but after 3 pushing sessions they were awesome and slow on my rear axles (I'm on the heavy side). I thought maybe my weight played a role. I have thoroughly cleaned and used Bronson lube with no success. I decided to return them and get these bearings. All I can say is that they are very fast, quiet and smooth out of the box. The Swiss make the best bearings and Bones has a name to prove it. If you're hesitant to spend money on Swiss, don't. Keep them clean and lubed and you'll be that guy who hasn't changed bearings in years!
