Very easy to install (remove vacuum hose, remove cuff clip, remove old part, push new part into place and hold while reattaching cuff). This solved that My car's problem draining the fuel back into the tank after a day or so.The symptom was that the car took a very long time to start if it had been sitting for a while.to start the engine.I knew it wasn't good for is the fuel pump which is an expensive part and a real pain to replace (it's in the gas tank) My Audi doesn't have a Schrader valve To easily hook up a fuel pressure sensor, diagnosing things like this requires a more specialized sensor that has a Has a fitting to connect it to the fuel line.Because this part was so cheap I bought it I just took a chance and exchanged it. Much cheaper than taking it to a shop that has the necessary diagnostic equipment. It could be that regulator, or the injectors (or even an injector), or the fuel pump. I knew the injectors were fairly new so that was the most likely culprit and the cheapest. If you have a VW or Audi with this symptom it may be easier to replace that part first as it is very cheap and easy to replace. If the problem persists, take it to a location that has fuel pressure gauges so they can isolate whether or not the injectors are present (another trick you can do is to remove each injector, they reconnect to the wiring harness and point each into an empty clear plastic water bottle then turn on the ignition so everyone tries to splash then turn the key off now look for fuel dripping from one of the injectors. This is a bad injector. Replace it or send it in for cleaning. If none are leaking then the problem is elsewhere.)
